Big Time Rush is an American boy group that is specialized in the field of pop. The band was founded in 2009. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow and Logan Henderson. They first signed to Nick Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. The group appeared on the Nickelodeon television show of the similar name, Big Time Rush. The show aired from the beginning of November 28, 2009 through July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured "Big Time Rush" the group's debut single as a promotional track. The group has released three studio albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven in 2013. In 2014, the group took an indefinite break that ran through 2021.
